Every one of these mild steel planters is fabricated by the Metal Planters in-house team in Essex, covering every stage of production from initial design through to fabrication, powder coating, and delivery. The polyester powder coating on each of these mild steel planters is applied after thorough multi-stage surface preparation, ensuring a durable finish that resists corrosion, UV degradation, and general weathering for at least 20 years.

Mild steel planters are the heaviest option in the Metal Planters range, weighing approximately 24 kilograms per metre. This substantial weight provides excellent stability in exposed outdoor locations, making these mild steel planters ideal for windy rooftop terraces and open courtyards. However, the weight does mean that larger mild steel planters benefit from being delivered in component sections for easier handling on site. A clear installation guide is provided with every sectional delivery of our mild steel planters.

These mild steel planters can also be supplied fully assembled for projects where immediate placement is preferred. The powder coated finish on every one of our mild steel planters is available in a wide range of RAL and BS colours to complement any design scheme, from corporate office exteriors to boutique hotel gardens.
