The 4mm PPC Aluminium Planters are the lightweight flagship of the Metal Planters range. Crafted from 4mm aluminium with fully welded construction and smooth corners, these aluminium planters deliver the same architectural presence as their steel counterparts at a fraction of the weight.

At just 11 kilograms per metre, these aluminium planters are the lightest option available from Metal Planters Ltd. This makes our aluminium planters the ideal choice for rooftop terraces, balconies, podium decks, and elevated locations where structural loading is a key consideration. The low weight also means these aluminium planters can arrive fully assembled and be carried into position by a two-person team without the need for a crane or specialist lifting equipment.

Every one of these aluminium planters is fabricated entirely in-house at the Metal Planters workshop in Essex. The team handles every stage of production for our aluminium planters, from design and cutting through to welding, surface preparation, powder coating, and dispatch. This end-to-end control ensures consistent quality across every unit.

The polyester powder coating on our aluminium planters is applied after thorough multi-stage preparation to create a finish that resists corrosion, UV degradation, and general weathering for at least 20 years. Aluminium planters can be finished in any RAL or BS colour, allowing the finish to be matched precisely to your project design palette.
