Baseboard Rail

The Baseboard Rail is a key structural profile within the Metal Planters terrace system. This baseboard rail provides the primary horizontal connection between the adjustable pedestal headpieces and the base boards, creating a rigid, level sub-frame onto which decking surfaces, tile systems, or planter bases are installed.

Manufactured from extruded aluminium, the baseboard rail offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio combined with natural corrosion resistance. The baseboard rail will not rust, rot, swell, or warp in outdoor conditions, making it suitable for permanent installation on rooftop terraces, balconies, and podium decks where exposure to rain, moisture, and UV is unavoidable.

The baseboard rail is available in 2 width options: 50mm and 75mm. Each baseboard rail is supplied in standard 3.6m lengths for efficient coverage across terrace layouts. The choice of baseboard rail width depends on the specific loading requirements and span distances of your project. The wider 75mm baseboard rail provides greater structural capacity for heavier loading conditions, while the 50mm baseboard rail is suitable for standard residential and light commercial applications.
